I want to start off by saying, sorry for being MIA on the blog recently…but I have the feeling that blog posts will be much more frequent this summer as we have A LOT of awesome stuff going on at Chance Faulkner Photography!!
We were so excited this week to celebrate and photograph the surprise engagement party of our friends Dave and Jenn. On April 1, a group of friends and family drove down from Peterborough to Jenn’s parents house in Mississauga. Dave surprised Jenn with his proposal, and when they came back to the house we surprised her again by being there to celebrate! Jenn got so overwhelmed when she saw us that she threw her coat and scarf in the air and ran into the other room to hide and compose herself…it was a priceless “Jenn moment”! Then, Jenn’s mom followed her into the room carrying her wedding veil from her own wedding. It was too funny and sweet. Mostly these photos are special because these people are so special to us, and I feel that the hope, love, and excitement we felt that day are palpable in Chance’s photos. We are blessed to see our dear friends Dave and Jenn embark on this journey of marriage together, and I love that Chance gets to play a special part by capturing some of the memories that will last for generations. Keep an eye on this blog for many more pictures of this happy couple this year…and the other happy couples that we have been blessed to spend this upcoming summer with. Every relationship, every person, is a gift to us.
