It was an absolute honor to photograph Colleen + Jason’s backyard proposal a few weeks ago! Colleen is a huge book lover and has a special soft spot for Harry Potter. Jason has a special soft spot for Colleen, and used her love of books to create a proposal that was meaningful and unforgettable to both of them. He tied the engagement ring to the book, placed in the chapter aptly titled “The Unbreakable Vow”. He then planned a multi-course dinner for her in her backyard, where they had their meal served by their good friends. At the end of the meal, he presented her the book and she accepted the ring and said yes to taking this unbreakable vow. All the while Chance was hiding and taking photos- he was able to trick Colleen, who was on the lookout for him but thought he was somewhere else, thanks to some handy hunting camouflage. Whatever gets the job done! Congratulations Colleen + Jason, and we are so looking forward to standing up with you on your wedding day.
